Tour 2007

An eventful tour, damp in parts with exceptional moments and some Ducksmen history made.

During the Trengilly match, the 19th over added another chapter to The Big Book of Biffage by HRH James (Henry Tudor) Robinson. During an innings in which he hit nine sixes, six of them came off of one over of the "highly regarded" sic. trundlage of Alan Mackay. He was left with figures of 3-0-64-1.

OuchThat'll be another six then

The other cause for much celebration came from the indefatigable Mr. Rich Williams. He scored a run at Mount Ambrose. Several in fact. So much so that a couple of rash forfeits were paid on the tour. (Video and photos can be found by following the links on this page.) It was such a momentous event that our poet laureate was visited once again by the muse and penned the following epilogue to the curse of Mount Ambrose the original of which can be read by clicking here.

Epilogue

Mount Ambrose the following year
His effort was met with great cheer
As willow hit leather
Despite the damp weather
Sir Richard ran one without fear

In response to a drunken night's bet
The anticipation now set
On streaked our brave Ned
His cheeks rather red
The curse laid to rest (rather wet!)
